This is the first Stephanie Tyler book I've read. It was pretty good but one I probably won't reread. I liked the premise and the action in the story. The romances in the story were just ok. I think the author included too many points of view. The points of view of the main couple and secondary couple would suffice. There were points of view of the heroine's father, the secondary hero's brothers, a Dr.,and the bad guys. I wish she would have concentrated more on the main couples and their relationships. I did like that the men in the story were alpha but not mean or jerks. The heroines were both strong in their own way. I will probably read the second book in this series because I do want to know what happens to Dr. Olivia and Zack. In conclusion, not a bad book but not a great book either... Just an ok read with lots of potential. I will see how I like book two in this series.

The Shadow Force Series are exciting and sexy. This, being the first in the series, introduces the reader to the participants and the thread of the stories.
If you are into suspense and love in the se book read these in order. I always rate my books myself and I rated this one as very,very good. I really enjoyed the suspense. Author did a good job, I will continue to read whatever she writes.
Good book. Enjoyed reading it.Good plot that kept you engrossed in the plot. Included a thread leading to book 2 which keeps the interest going.
As others have said, I won't retell the plot (why do people do that???) I'll simply state what I liked about the book---

Fast paced plot, alpha with issues who could turn mean but instead turns into a hero. Heroine who is strong, dealing with her own mortality, gets mad at appropriate times but gets over it and herself quickly enough. Villain(s) who are not exaclty one dimensional, who are a bit more fleshed out and human. Very good secondary romance and characters.

The story starts off with lots of questions and mysteries and doesn't reveal them too fast or too simply. By the end of the book, the questions are answered, but the opening scenes/first chapter do grab you and hold you! And it sets the tone for the remainder of the story.

Nits? The sex does happen kinda fast, but as others have said elswhere, ya only have 300 pages so you gotta make hay while the sun shines or run out of time and story.

Pros-- it's a 'can't put it down' kind of book.... you want to see what happens next, if they get out of it alive etc. And the romance/sex is pretty damn good too ;)
As usual this writer keeps you involved from the first...Twists and turns...and meaningful realtionships....In this line of business...the attachment to the men and women of these covert missions is so strong and understandable...you know that they all stand behind each other...Lots of action and can't really tell which way the story will head..Love this writer...cam and Sky...were definitely an inspiration to how you can beat the odds...Read it..you'll love it...
Sky and Cam

Cam's worst enemy is her father. She loves Cam but her Father has saved her life several times, her loyalties are torn

This story starts with Romance then will they, won't they make it together goes on for the rest of the story. I liked the book and want to find out about Olivia next.
I've read and loved the ACRO series by Sydney Croft, which is a pseudonym for Stephanie Tyler and Larissa Lone. This is the first time I've a book written by just Stephanie. It was pretty good but I think I know what Larissa contributed to the ACRO series. Also, I would totally love for them to continue the ACRO series. Those stories are amazing!!!
